The Asian-Oceanian Textbook of Radiology represents the first truly pan-Asian comprehensive textbook of radiology written in English by 80 expert authors from 15 countries. A short first section deals with the basic principles of imaging. The longer second section covers anatomy, imaging techniques and diseases of various organ systems. A clinical problem-oriented approach emphasizing the imaging approach and disease patterns unique to the Asian-Oceanian context is adopted.

The textbook is co-edited by Wilfred C.G. Peh, Senior Consultant Radiologist, Singapore Health Services and Clinical Professor at the National University of Singapore, and Yoshihiro Hiramatsu, Professor and Chairman, Second Department of Radiology, Toho University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan.
